This 2200 square foot home has an open floor plan with skylights, beautiful stained glass windows here and there, two fireplaces, and is dominated with natural light throughout.
The 800 square foot Master Bedroom/Bath suite has a gas fireplace, cozy sitting area surrounded by softly colored stained glass windows, beamed ceiling, bath with Jacuzzi tub and two separate shower heads, private toilet area, his and hers separate sinks with oak cabinets, and a large walk in closet and dressing room.
The spacious kitchen/atrium features quartz counters, breakfast bar, and a small table area for two where the glass ceiling allows the blue sky and natural light to bring the outside in.
A corner fireplace in the living/dining room area adds an elegant touch to nicely arranged furniture around the window seat and built in oak accent furniture.
In the East Wing of the home is a roomy family room with a cathedral open beamed ceiling and a wall of glass bringing the ouside private garden in, to become an extension to the room. There is a large curved sectional with electric recliner seats and a pull out double sofa bed, allowing the room to become a third bedroom with pocket doors to close it off at the hallway. Off the hall is the guest bedroom with a queen bed, a window seat, and a walk in closet. The second full bathroom is bright and tastefully decorated. Also conveniently located is a separate laundry room with washer, dryer, built in ironing board and enhanced by a lovely garden window with plants.
The outside private garden area includes a wooden deck reached by sliding glass doors from the family room. You will also see the sparkling blue Pacific ocean as it appears between the structures.

The neighborhood is a gathering of single family homes resulting in a peaceful atmosphere with kids riding skateboards, people walking dogs, and families taking walks together. You will also see individuals on bicycles on their way past the house to the bike path on the beach. You will be far away from large, busy city road traffic. Although you will hear the ocassional plane taking off from the nearby airport, the house is designed with professional sound proofing and industrial sound proof windows.
Unlike other nearby beach cities, El Segundo has a small town environment, with no parking meters, excellent restaurants, small shops, and its own police and fire department, school system, and city hall.
