Four bedrooms each having a queen bed and Three bathrooms, Beautiful in ground solar heated swimming pool, hot tub, and 2 large decks offer guests wonderful vineyard valley and mountain views and outdoor enjoyment. Permit 1855 The property stretches from valley floor to a ridge, sandwiched between vineyards, and offers dramatic views clear across the valley.
The perfect retreat, is centrally located between the Healdsburg, Windsor, Geyserville and Anderson Valley (famous for pinot and apples) corridor, offering scenic dirves, wineries within tne minutes, Lake Sonoma for boat rental, the Russian River for swimming, fishing of kayaking and many restaurants and boutiques. Our guests drive through a stone gate and just a few hundred feet up the hillside to Starling's Rest. A large front deck accents the front of the home and accommodates cedar outdoor furniture, a large shaded area to sit or hot tub, propane BBQ and a children's play area on the grass beyond the in ground pool.
Enter the house from the front porch and into the great room. A contemporary styled area, in the heart of the house is ideal for gathering. Vaulted wood beamed ceilings, TV and sofas offer a nice conversation area. This open room connects to the modern gourmet kitchen and is one of three distinct living spaces; the TV lounge, Fireplace Lounge, and spacious dining room.
The whole house is wired for sound with a Sonoma digital music system.
With the new modern kitchen, guests can esily prepare eleborate meals, and have lots of counter space, modern appliances, including Vikig, Fischer Paykel double oven, warming drawer, large refrigerator freezer, dishwasher and 2 prep sinks.
In the late fall and winter months, thousands of starlings swirl and rest in the trees above Alexander Valley. Deer, quail and rabbits also live near and visit the hillside.
A 7 person hot tub, and quality outdoor furniture are provided.
The vineyard views at the front of the home are perfect in the morning with coffee, juice or continental breakfast. In the evening the west facing front deck enjoys spectacular views and sunsets. And late into the evening the stars are amazing here.
Starling's Rest is in a pocket of little or no light pollution. Take visual ride on the milky way and get lost in the country, even if it's just for a weekend. SCP 387

DEPOSITS
Upon making your reservation, we ask for 1/2 of the total immediately, and make the charge to your credit card.
The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival, at which time we will automatically charge the balance due to the credit card on file.
If you'd like to pay by personal check, the balance must be paid not later than 30 days prior to arrival.
There is a security deposit due 30 days prior to arrival by check, cashier's check, money order or cash, and the amount varies per property. This deposit is refundable within 30 days of your departure. If your security deposit has not been paid 30 days prior to arrival, it must be paid with certified funds or cash upon arrival.
MINIMUMS
2 night minimum from 11/1 - 11/20, 12/1 - 12/20 and 1/3 - 3/31
3 night minimum 4/1 - 10/31 and all holiday periods.
The properties with swimming pools and on the Russian River are the exception, which typically rent for 7 nights minimum from 6/1 - Labor Day.
After Memorial Weekend (last Monday in May) many of the pool and Russian River properties will release this requirement and go to a 3-5 night minimum.
Exceptions are given for reservations on available properties for less than 2 weeks prior to arrival, which are a 2 night minimum
CANCELLATION: 60 days or more prior to arrival, a full cancellation is given to guest, less a $30 cancellation fee.
59 days to 22 days prior to arrival, the 1/2 deposit is forfeited unless property can be rebooked for same dates.
21 days or less prior to arrival, full payment is forfeited unless property can be rebooked for same dates.
