Handcrafted in 2007 this custom log home is comfortably appointed with antiques and modern amenities. The cabin is kept very clean. Upon entering the cabin, before you is the great room, which is surrounded by windows and decks that brighten the entire area and offer spectacular views. The dining area seats ten with additional seating at the breakfast bar for two. There is also a large picnic table on the deck for 10+. The kitchen island is centrally located in the house with vaulted ceilings and lots of handcrafted character. A great place to enjoy cooking in an open floor plan to the living room and loft.
The Master bedroom has a Queen bed and adjacent bathroom, the second bedroom has a full bed and 1/2 bath. The loft has a Queen bed. (Only the two upstairs bedrooms and loft are part of the log area.) Four downstairs bedrooms have 1 King, 1 CA King, and 1 Full bed - great for the extra guests. One additional large bathroom downstairs. 7th bedroom 2 queen beds plus extra bathroom, 800 sq ft.
There are over 800 sq. ft. of deck wrapped with inspiring mountain views. There is a 25 foot tree swing for the kids. Bob crane and Hootie the owl fly by often.

The Santa Ana River upper headwaters of the river in the San Bernardino Mountains still retain a free flowing character and outstanding natural values. RESTRICTIONS: We only rent to responsible people. No activities that would prevent our neighbors’ ability to enjoy their residences peacefully - sorry, no weddings or large events. It’s NOT a party house. No smoking, no fires, no firearms, no pets, no boomboxes. No music or loud noise outdoors.
River access is limited to 300' of river on our property only. Please do not trespass on the neighbors property. You may access the river by walking up the road. This goes along public forest land and is a lovely longer hike.
Winter - please carry chains. We are located at 4,600' elevation. (No high altitude headaches here).
