Nearby are the fantastic Manavgat Falls and the Roman city of Side, a pretty resort town with ancient ruins, two sandy beaches and numerous cafes and restaurants. Only a few miles to the west is Antalya with its surprising harbour and ancient city where Turkish handicrafts, that have begun to be recognized internationally, can be bought. You can also visit ancient Burdur, the Roman city of Termossosa that is located in the high mountains above Antalya and was founded by Alexander the Great in 333 BC.
