This stylish villa offers two double and two twin bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, and open plan living/dining/kitchen on the ground floor. The roof terrace provides a wonderful ambience with panoramic views across the bay. The pool deck offers Al Fresco dining with marble table and eight chairs. It is only three minutes walk to the nearest beach club and the sea, while with a few minutes more there are excellent restaurants. In the season, a water taxi service runs from the beach club to town. Kalkan is 25 minutes walk away or 5 minutes in a taxi. The new owners refurbished the villa in 2014 and are much aware of the local history and culture, which is reflected in the décor and furnishings. With it's four en-suite bedrooms, this villa is ideal for families or couples wishing to share. There are amazing views from every room in the villa.
Villa Kaplumbaga is approx. 300m from the sea. Kalkan Beach Club and The Mahal Beach Club are just a few minutes walk down from the villa. They all have restaurants and operate a water taxi service to Kalkan Harbour. Kalkan has a pleasant pebbly beach.
Within easy reach are Kaputas Beach and Patara Beach, both of which are sandy and gently sloping. Details are available in the villa.
Dalaman Airport is some 1 hour 45 minutes drive. Transfers to and from can be arranged. Many charter and scheduled airlines fly directly from UK airports.
Car hire is not necessary, but can be arranged if needed, to see the sights further away.
The centre of Kalkan takes 3/5 minutes by taxi. All Kalkan is hilly, so the walk will take about 25 minutes. Kalkan is in the heart of the Lycian region and there are many historical sites close-by to visit. The ruins of Patara, still being excavated, and Xanthos, formerly the capital city of Lycia are a 30 minute drive.
Kalkan is sophisticated with a multitude of excellent harbour and roof top restaurants offering a high standard of culinary delights, together with a good selection of atmospheric blues and jazz bars. The village shops stay open until around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellers, carpets, clothing and leather bags. The narrow streets of the old town are ideal for an evening stroll. There are two banks with cash dispensers, as well the Post Office which usually offers the best exchange rate.

Change over day is generally Saturdays, but is negotiable. A Booking Deposit is required and is 25% of rental costs. The balance is paid 8 weeks before the holiday is taken. A returnable breakages deposit of £250 is held. Payment can be made into UK or Turkish Bank. Paypal will be added shortly. Please contact the owners to discuss any personal requirements and needs.

In the winter, off season months, the pool is empty and is not serviced. It can be filled and serviced at an extra charge. Payment by PayPal is accepted: Please contact owner.
Preferred changeover is Saturdays, but is flexible. Departure time is usually noon, but again is flexible and depends on the arrival time of the next guests.
