Villa Los Olivos is a restored and large country Villa near the Catalan coastline. It has a extensive terraces and walkways with stone barbecue and wonderful stone table under the morera trees. It has an extensive open plan lounge area with wall mounted flat TV screen and dining area for ten people. The lounge leads into fully equipped kitchen and kitchen dining area. There are five double bedrooms, two of which lead onto a terrace with sea views; it has generous parking, sufficient for three vehicles; it also enjoys its own orange and almond grove. This villa is perfect for a get away holiday with two families or friends as it has sleeping capacity for up to ten guests and the grounds and terraces offer space to relax, sunbathe, read a book, swim in the pool or go for a walk. It is close to L'Ampolla, a quaint fishing village which is famous for its sea-food restaurants as well its concerts and festivals. (check out website); plus there is a gypsy market every Wednesday morning where you can find anything from an Moroccan wall-hanging to a jar of country olives to Calvin Klein underwear!! L'Ampolla also has four supermarkets, pharmacy and a host of little cafes dotted around the harbour and lovely maritime boardwalk. The Villa is also just 5 kilometres from the most famous sandy each in the area called Cap Roig which is perfect for a day excursion (see photos). The Villa is is also close to Tarragona, originally a Roman settlement which has become a large cosmopolitan city with great shopping possibilities, concerts, museums and even has an old Roman amphitheater as a momento of its past. There is also Tortosa, a large medieval town just twenty minutes by car and this makes for a great destination for a day excursion, with its old market, chic cafes, park and river Ebro promenade. And for those who likes theme parks, Villa Los Olivos is just 30 minutes from the world famous Portaventura theme park or Aquapolis water theme park with its spectacular dolphin show! Andfor nature lovers, there are many walks and bicycle routes through the immediate landscape. And you are also just 4 kilometres from Les Oliveres 4 star hotel and spa resort where you can rent tennis courts, use the internet cafe with open access wifi and the spa.
