Cortijo Grande was originally a traditional Spanish village with orange groves, and when the golf course was developed in the 1970's, the original buildings were retained and now form the clubhouse and bar/restaurant (a 3 min stroll away). The newer buildings from the 1970's match the old ones, and this townhouse has been extensively refitted in the traditional Rustica style. The French doors of the townhouse open onto a private terrace with views of the orange groves and cypress trees on the golf course, the Sierra Cabrera mountains, the hilltop village of Mojacar Pueblo and the Mediterranean sea. The owners are not golfers, but simply enjoy the spiritual experience of being in this valley framed by tall cypress and eucalyptus trees.
