Apartment Sleeps8Bedrooms3Bathrooms2Minimum Stay2 nightsThe apartment is situated within the Albayt Costa Galera Country Club complex, which is about halfway between Estepona and La Duquesa. Most people fly to Malaga or Gibraltar, and then hire a car.
There are 3 bedrooms each with a fitted wardrobe, and 2 single beds. There are 2 good quality bathrooms, one of which is en-suite for the rear bedroom. The floors throughout are marble.
There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, larder fridge, large freezer, oven, hob and microwave, and there is even a hairdryer. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. A double door opens from the kitchen to a small outside space at the front of the apartment. There is a lockable security gate, so it is possible to have fresh air and security at the same time.
The spacious lounge has good furnishings, Satelite TV (many languages), DVD/CD player and a supply of DVDs to play should you have time! There is a double sofa bed. The lounge has patio doors which open onto a terrace and small garden with lawn and shrubs. There is a glass table and four comfortable basket chairs. There is a step down from the terrace to the lawned area which is at the back and side of the property. From the garden there are views of the mountains and sea.
There are steps near the front door which lead down to secure underground parking. The front entrance to the apartment has two steps up and two steps down. The apartment itself is all on one level.
There is a small entrance hall with a useful table, mirror and a cupboard, which contains cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner.
We didn't start letting the property until 2009. Here is a comment from one of our guests.

The whole complex is pleasant and well maintained with 24 hour security. There are 8 communal pools, 2 pool bars, and a children's play area. There is a Club House, a restuarant with a large al fresco terrace, a health spa, gym and an indoor pool. There is a larger outdoor pool, tennis courts, and a practise golf course.
Please note that the Country Club beauty treatments, spa, gym etc are not included in the apartment rental price.

The nearest shop is just a few minutes walk, and the nearest supermarket is a 5 minute drive.
The region is a golfers paradise with dozens of courses,inculding the world famous Valderama. There are about 320 days of sunshine a year.
From La Duquesa there are dolphin watch tours, fishing, scuba diving,water skiing etc.
