The beaches in Moraira /El Portet are voted the very best in Spain; clean, environmentally friendly, with parking facilities and restaurants/cafes. All the bathrooms were renewed in 2014 and the main bathroom has a jaccuzi bath.
New in 2010: The swimming pool (approx 45 sq meters) is now heated by solar and extends the swimming period 2 months at the beginning of the summer and 2 months at the end. Temperatures vary between 25C and 32C but the average is about 28C. The solar panels are fitted on the roof of a large pergola near the swimming pool which has created a very pleasant outside sitting and dinning area. In hot weather it is like outside air conditioning as the heat from the roof is taken away to the pool. In 2012 an outside kitchen has been added with gas BBQ as well as charcoal and all the facilities for outside dining.
