Country Retreat Killearn is part of a stunning mansion house, or described in its history 'the castle of the birches'. It is about 300 years old and is located just outside the village of Killearn near Loch Lomond.
You have to drive down a private road for about 1 mile to reach this wonderful secluded residence set in 3 acres of garden ground.
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 with en- suite and 2 single bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
It has a large kitchen / dining room.
It has a comfortable lounge downstairs.
It also has a large lounge/dining area upstairs which is 12 foot x 25 foot.
Set within 3 acres of garden up on the hillside and has wonderful views of the surrounding area. The village of Killearn is approximately 1 mile and has pubs and restaurants with excellent food, there are small supermarkets to get you groceries. If you walk from the house to the village is a real treat for lovers of nature. The house is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and birds. It's not unusual to see squirrels, pheasants, deer and rabbits.
Glengoyne Distillery is just minutes from the house in Killearn.
The house is located close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Glasgow and Stirling are only 30 minutes away. It is a great location for touring central Scotland.
A great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the views. Ideal for families, unfortunately we cannot accommodate for pets though.
