Palmas Del Mar is a gated community that is safe and has a quiet and peaceful environment that is a perfect getaway for family and friends. The villa is just 45 minutes Southeast of the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan (SJU). Once you arrive, you will be able to relax and take the 1-minute walk to the pool and just steps away from the beach. The villa is multi-level, on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It features travertine flooring throughout including the balconies. Each room has independent vent less air-conditioning. There are vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows and doors. There is a laundry room, with a brand new washer with steam clean capabilities and a dryer, we even have a foot wash basin to remove sand from your feet and chairs. There are two renovated bathrooms with tiled showers that even have a seat! The villa has a fully renovated kitchen with everything you need for your culinary endeavors. There are stainless appliances and a granite counter with 4 barstool chairs for eating. We have a Ninja blender for drinks, smoothies or your protein shake. The villa has a sleeping capacity for 8 guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second and third bedrooms have twin beds which can be adapted to King size beds with joiners and straps to keep the beds attached. The bedrooms are spacious and have large closets for storage. The master bedroom and the living room have flat screened televisions with cable. There is Internet access in the villa. We also provide a copier for printing boarding passes, directions, etc. There is a Blu-ray player in the living room.
If you want Puerto Rican dishes prepared for you, upon request and a reasonable fee, we have access to a native cook who can prepare meals for your entire stay or just for a day or two. Maid service is also available at an additional fee.
You have access to the private pool for the condo association at Beach Village. The pool area includes shaded areas and tables with umbrellas for eating. The entire pool, including tiles and poolside furniture was updated in August 2014. Restrooms are on site. The pool is less than a 1-minute walk from the villa.
You will also have access to our golf cart, which seats 4 people. The golf cart will allow you to easily get to restaurants, the Pterocarpus forest, the casino, 7 different access points to the beach. Leave your troubles behind and enjoy paradise and barefoot elegance.You are just a moment's walk down the beach to Beach Bohio, a funky bar and grill. Next to the bar is the Wyndham Hotel and Casino where you can enjoy wine tastings, fine dining and gambling. Further down the beach is the Marina where several restaurants known as 'The French Connection' are located. The Palmanova Plaza also features dozens of dining options and specialty cuisine.
We have an amazing patio that is beautiful and secluded. It is furnished with a loveseat, chair and ottoman, a rocker and ottoman and many plants including mint and cilantro for cooking and drinks. Whether you’re sunbathing, entertaining, dining by candlelight, or star gazing, this complete outdoor living space is a welcome addition to your vacation home. The front and back patio each have seating and a table for meals and drinks. There is a gas grill provided.
All linens are included - even beach towels! We also provide beach chairs, a cooler, cooler gel packs, travel mugs for coffee and cool drinks, sand toys for the kids, boogie boards, a beach bag and games for the beach. A Pack-N-Play crib and high chair can also be assembled prior to your arrival upon request.
Private parking for one vehicle is provided.
