The house was completely rebuilt in 1997, using the original lay out. It is located in Douro region and is part of one farm with about 100 ha forest, closed with Douro River. The farm makes border one mile along river. At half mile there is a Hydroelectric Dam with one dock for touristy and commercial vessels.
