Although within easy reach of so much activity and lively nightlife, the apartment forms part of a small and tranquil residential area overlooking Albufeira Bay. On the cliff top just 100 metres to the east of Fishermen's Beach and the Old Town Centre, the spotlessly clean, golden sandy beaches are within just a few moments' walk of the front door. The narrow roadway between the apartment and the beaches is restricted to use by residents and the Tourist Train only.
The apartment is spacious, well designed, and light and airy, and is suitable for all age groups, being on one floor with access at road level to the rear of the property. It has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, a bathroom, walk-in storeroom, separate kitchen/diner with gas oven/hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, and a large lounge/dining room with cable TV. All windows have security shutters.
From the lounge, sliding patio doors lead onto a good-sized, south-facing balcony. From here, the uninterrupted views of Albufeira Bay and the Atlantic Ocean are quite stunning and ensure that this is a perfect base for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
All beds will be made up for your arrival, and you will find a supply of fresh hand and bath towels - beach towels are not provided. There is no daily maid service, as the owners respect your privacy and understand that you will want to relax without interruption. However, we are always readily available nearby, and will be happy to help you with any queries or problems that you may have.
Albufeira is within easy reach of Faro Airport, being a journey of approximately 20 miles, which normally takes about 30-40 minutes by taxi, which we can arrange for you upon request. Car Hire is not essential for your holiday, as the beaches, Old Town Centre, and all amenities and watersports are within easy walking distance, and local transport is frequent and reliable. A little further afield are many interesting places to visit, including dolphins at the world-famous Zoomarine, a choice of Water Parks, the amazing sand sculptures, the Marina, Gypsy Markets, to name just a few. And don't forget the vast selection of Golf Courses! (Tickets are easily purchased locally, and courtesy buses are generally provided).
