Located in central Portugal, in the historic village of Palo Mendes, three kilometers from Dornes where Zêzere flowing peacefully to the Castelo do Bode, here you can enjoy the tranquility of the Ribatejo landscape where the mountain begins.
This rural family die meets all conditions for a reunion with nature and its rhythms, the authentic flavors of the earth are the basis of our table, shared with our visitors. Are the trees in our area that give the name to the rooms and throughout the year you can freely enjoy its fruits.

This project was born from a family quest for reunion with Nature. The restoration and recovery spaces walked hand in hand with the discovery of the old farmhouse "Teacher Camille" (first owner), left abandoned for years. This experience of another country life, was the beginning of the Village of Chestnut trees which now shares its comfort and beauty with their guests.
The wealth of details that beautify and add value to the original design of the space are the result of genuine experience and desire to revive an abandoned farmhouse that is now in our possession.
Could not miss the organic garden and our animals: chickens, ducks, weak (Chicken Angola) and sheep, for now ... The basis of a healthy and tasty cuisine that follows the seasons. And in that each station has its fruit (chestnuts and persimmons in autumn, winter oranges and tangerines, cherries and plums in spring, figs and pears in summer).
We offer different solutions for your stay including: rooms, apartments with kitchenette and a bathroom with separate access that was the old men of the village school. For meals has at its disposal a Home Furnace equipped with a kitchen for community use and a grill where you can confecionar their grilled to enjoy the shade of the chestnut. For your entertainment we have traditional and board games, as well as the multipurpose space baptized Theatre where you can purchase refreshments from listening to music or singing karaoke. To relax and refresh their energies have a spa with Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi and massage bed. And our famous tank recovered to cool off during the hot days. We have breakfast service with homemade, jams, seasonal fruit, eggs, natural juices ... and other meals by arrangement.
