Casa Alta welcomes persons of all faiths or none. Donations support Casa Alta, without which it would be unable to continue in its primary mission as place of unparalleled tranquillity, retreat, and spiritual nourishment. Prices quoted are the suggested donations to the �Castelos de Portugal - Casa Alta� a non-profit Association, for a one-time cost of one euro for members and their guests staying at Casa Alta in accordance with the Bylaws.
There are only three rooms, exuding old world charm, one of which is a suite. They have stunning views, private bathrooms, wood-burning fireplaces, embroidered sheets and superior duvets, antiques, fresh flowers, and complimentary artesian water. A full English-style breakfast is included. Hand-finished laundry is available at a nominal charge.

John Guilbert Mariani, Chaplain to the Royal House of Portugal, restored Casa Alta to its original ambiance, recapturing its first purpose to provide an elegant, intimate oasis of peace and reflection.
