Les Suites du Bairro Alto are located in the historic heart of Lisbon, Bairro Alto, in an Art Nouveau building entirely restored. There are 4 apartments on each floor. The first three floors house 2 bedroom apartments with balcony and sleeps up to 6. The penthouse, a studio with a terrace overlooking the Castle, for 1 or 2 people, is on the fourth and top floor.
The layout of the apartments makes them ideal to come alone, with friends or in a small group, if only occupies an apartment, but can also be booked several or even all if you come edifício a large family or group of friends. So you can enjoy the company of all without losing comfort or space.
Built in 1923, the building is classified as historic sites by the Portuguese Institute of Architectural Heritage (IPPAR). It is the only remaining Art Nouveau building in the area and was one of the first to be built in Lisbon in concrete slabs between floors instead of wooden structures.
To restore all its glory were needed a year and a half of intensive craftsmanship to Retrieve all the ceilings, floors and original wood carvings on doors and windows.
