What I realized was, why not provide comfortable and private accommodations for those who are really interested in exploring a new place with the help of a local? Why not offer this experience to my guests with a guide who knows the city, the region, the customs and its traditions? Why not provide a a room in my house to anyone who has never been to, or is really interested in getting to know more about Lisbon and Portugal?
I invite people to my house for a short term stay, such as an weekend or a week. What I offer you are typical meals of the area and to guide you around the town and surroundings. Our tour will include transportation and a native Lisboan to explain the monuments, the arts and handicrafts, the traditions, the landscape and whatever else might intrigue you. There is so much to see and explore here in Lisboa, and in the spirit of homestay tourism I'd like to add my own personal touch to your experience. I hope you are interested!
Room 1
This is the double room available. It has a bathroom for exclusive service and a beautiful view over the river Tejo. The bed linen and towels are provided and you will not have to worry about dirty laundry. Available internet connection and cable TV, as well as all the tourist information and monitoring when requested.
Room 2
This is the single room available. It is adjacent to the living room and has a bathroom for exclusive service. The same services are available.
Meals - €10/person
Meals are available on request. Experience real Portuguese cuisine, prepared by a family mother. You can choose any regional dish and I'll be happy to cook it for you.
