Located in Praínha on the north coast of Pico, with its volcanic peak, green fields, cliffs and renowned whale-watching excursions, the cottages are an ideal base for exploring the island.
There is a small beach and natural swimming pool, opportunities for fishing, snorkeling, Verdelho cellar visits and Azorean cheese-tasting. The village has small grocery shops, the award-winning Canto do Paço restaurant and ever-present sea-views. Some cottages are on the shoreline, others are above the village, surrounded by fields.
Full of local character, the renovated stone cottages are self-catering, with fully equipped kitchens, lovely bedrooms and living areas, with WiFi and TV, and outdoor patios with barbecues. Excellent value for money, with slight variation in price depending on number of bedrooms.
