Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und die beiden getrennten Schlafbereiche im EG und OG erlauben einen ungestörten Aufenthalt. Die Küche liegt zentral und ist komplett eingerichtet. Der Pool mit dem zugehörigen Grillplatz ist sehr schön angelegt und man kann hier fernab von jeglicher Hektik und Stress sehr schön entspannen. Die Lage der Villa, zwischen Estoi und S. Bras, ist sehr ruhig. Einzig die neu angekommenen jungen Hunde des Nachbarn haben die Ruhe, fast durchgehend, gestört. Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob sie mit zunehmendem Alter etwas ruhiger werden. Aber immer noch besser, als der Großstadtlärm. Ansonsten sind alle interessanten Plätze von hier aus sehr gut zu erkunden. Ein Auto ist allerdings unbedingt erforderlich. Maria war immer ansprechbar und hat bei Bedarf umgehend geholfen. Wir können uns einen weiteren Aufenthalt in dieser Villa gut vorstellen. Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Date of Stay 29 June 2013 Helpful votes:2/2. I can highly recommend this villa. We had a wonderful holiday and one of the most important factors to any holiday is the accommodation! This tasteful, clean villa has all the key ingredients for a perfect stay! The property had all the facilities listed all in great working order. The villa owner Maria is a friendly and nothing was any trouble. One of the most appealing feature is the pool and you certainly wont be disappointed, placed on a terrace with a shaded BBQ area made a wonderful day when "staying in". We loved it that this property is out of the way and you will certainly need to hire a car if not driving over, but we wanted this getaway from it all place and what a perfect way to de-stress! The gardens are beautiful and attract lots off butterflies, birds etc. We had a wonderful holiday and do not have any hesitation in recommending this lovely villa. It was our first visit to Portugal and wont be the last, we found the Portuguese warm and friendly, the food very good and found beaches, culture and weather to be perfect. The Euro goes further than home (UK)! Would we go back to this villa? We certainly hope to! My Response Mr & Mrs ARWID were in our villa for the one week with two lovely children we enjoyed having them and we would have no problem in recommending them to other properties or having them back again to stay with us would be a pleasure.

3rd visit

This year was our 3rd visit to Villa Cavaco. We love this quiet location in the countryside especially the secluded heated pool. Maria, the owner, who lives nearby, is an excellent host, always helpful and friendly if you need advice about anything. This is an ideal holiday for anyone who wants a quiet break in the countryside but within easy reach of the motorway to travel about in all directions. We are definitely visiting again

Fabulous stay!

Everything about the Villa was great. It is very well kept with a lovely secluded pool and the gardens were were beautiful with magnificent flowers all around. It was clean and tidy with all the facilities you would need for a perfect stay. It has two BBQ areas although we just used the one next to the pool which was great. At the top of the hill their is a fabulous cafe/bar which is very cheap. Try the restaurants around they are much cheaper than in the bigger resorts and a meal out at the Palace for 35 euros each was definitely worth it. I have no hesitation in recommending this Villa, A car is a must!
