Peaceful location is ideally suited for the disabled, wheelchairs users and their families.Close to amenities and beautiful beaches but having rural appeal usually only found far inland.This South west facing property enjoys magnificent sunsets, large accessible enclosed garden with lawn, lighted pool, and pool lift. Three terraces with beautiful purple Bougainvillea.
The villa is all on one floor and where needed there are ramps for wheelchair users inside the villa and outside.One of the spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms has been adapted especially for the use of wheelchairs, with 90 cm wide clear door openings, over head bed grab bar attached to the wall, the lights and over head fan can be switch on/off from the bed and the wardrobe has a lower hanging rail.The en suite bathroom has also been adapted, there is a shower chair/commode with arms that lift up for easier transfers. The toilet has grab rails either side and toilet raiser if needed. A level access shower room, with two grab rails. There is plenty of space under the sink, with a lower mirror. If needed there is also a shower trolley kept at the villa.
Air conditioning, under floor heating, and also an open fire place in the lounge. All rooms are spacious and light with large French windows to take advantage of the beautiful views of the coast and countryside. Extensive covered terraces around the villa, small ramps where needed, BBQ area and level grassed garden, with a wooden pathway from the terrace to the pool.The pool is 9.50 m x 4.50 m2 with shallow Roman entry steps. A battery operated PAL pool lift, and underwater lights.There are plenty of dining areas and sun loungers.The mornings are filled with birdsong from the wide variety of bird life found here. The villa has been designed to take full advantage of the views, and sunset that the Algarve has to offer.
Casa Luz do Sol is situated on 3,000 M2 of private land. With plenty of private parking on level ground in front of the main entrance.The lounge has two 4m wide French windows to take advantage of the spectacular views, opening onto covered terraces shaded with Bougainvillea, grassed garden and pool.A full range of accessibility aids for hire locally including, electric beds, cell antidecubitus alternating pressure system mattress, and hoists, which can be installed at the villa on your arrival. English speaking GP is 1km away and nearest A&E 10 minutes by car. The owner is on hand for advice or emergency assistance who is fluent in Portuguese and English.
