The house is tastefully decorated and offers a luxury but cozy atmosphere for 8 persons (+ 2 extra children for free). The villa park offers not only quietness and lots of space, but also ideal possibilities for your children to play safely on the abundantly present lawns, play a game of tennis on the free courts, enjoy swimming in the free pool or boating/canoeing on the canal next to the park.
Our spacious holiday home "Villa Woldrust" is situated on a 600 sqm. plot in a peaceful residential villa park, right in the Horsterwold, the largest deciduous forest of the Netherlands,with miles of walking and cycling paths. The house has been furnished for 8 people + 2 extra children (under 12).
Layout: Ground floor (floor heating in all rooms):
Entrance with stairs to the first floor, spacious wardrobe, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (also accessible from the extra bedroom), and access to the L-shaped living room of 55 sqm. with a 6-seater leather sofa set, several matching modern furniture, a TV corner with large flat screen TV with DVD player and radio-CD player, plus in the bay window a 6-seater dining set and a display cabinet. Next to this cabinet is a semi-open passage to the old-style kitchen, with a luxurious high gloss kitchen with all the necessary appliances including a dishwasher. The spacious and cozy kitchen is decorated with several original and antique items and offers an extra dining set with 4 chairs. There is ample crockery and cooking utensils for 8 (and even more) people. Next to the kitchen and the living room is a large extra room (18 sqm.), which can be used as an extra sitting room or spare bedroom (with a comfortable sofa bed for 2). This room has an en suite bathroom that also has an exit to the entrance hall.
First floor (central heating with thermostat in all rooms):
On the landing are the washing- and drying machine (both free to use), and next to these machines is a large cupboard with the boiler, an extra (work-) sink and space for cleaning utensils. There are 3 bedrooms: the master bedroom with a lovely white 2 persons bed with matching bedside tables, an elegant 2 persons seat, and a large build-in wardrobe with sliding doors, plus 2 other bedrooms, one with dormer and therefore extra spacious and bright. Both these 2 bedrooms have got 2 beds and a large wardrobe, and the largest one has also got a TV table with a large TV + DVD player, and a desk with a modern desk chair. All bedrooms have a radio-CD player. Through the landing you enter the main bathroom with dormer (extra space and light), bath (with shower possibility), washbasin, bidet, toilet and luxury tiled floor and walls. For the 2 extra children (max. 12 years old) that can stay free of charge with 8 paying guests, are a guest bed and matrasses available (sleeping on the ground), plus a folding (baby) cot, but you have to bring your own sleeping bags, (baby-) sheets and so on.
Outside:
In front of the house is parking space for 3 cars. The driveway to the front door extends to the back of the garden with a small shed for the garden chairs and barbecue necessities. Behind and beside the house is a garden with large lawns and a terrace with a white garden set (8 chairs) and the barbecue area. Next to the house, facing the bay window, is another garden set with 4 comfortable chairs around a large table with a matching parasol.
