5- minute walk to the Malecon and everything in El Centro Puerto Vallarta. The Romantic Zone is just a few minutes the other direction. You will enjoy your days in this great home and grab the rays of the sun at the rooftop pool overlooking Puerto Vallarta and The Bay of Banderas.
Avoid the big condos and experience the real Puerto Vallarta, off the beaten tourist path! The River House is a beautiful luxurious home alongside Puerto Vallarta’s famous Rio Cuale, tucked in the heart of a bustling neighborhood of working Mexican families who have lived along the Rio Cuale for many generations. The house is centrally located in the heart of “Old Town,” just a short walk from the beach, the main plaza, and the dozens of excellent restaurants, shops and galleries for which Puerto Vallarta is famous.

The River House is a four-level fully furnished, fully equipped, maid-staffed home furnished in traditional Mexican style and filled with Mexican handcrafts. A rooftop dipping pool and two outdoor terraces provide all the relaxation and restful seclusion you seek as you enjoy the sun or a starlit evening and gaze out at the panoramic views of “Old Town” or watch the many birds flying up and down the river.
Walk out the front door and explore the neighborhood to experience how families have been living in Puerto Vallarta since it was a small fishing village. Step inside and close the door behind you to enjoy the luxury and relaxation that is The River House.
Please note that the house is multi-leveled with several flights of stairs and may not be suitable for the elderly, handicapped, or those with walking difficulties.
Also please note that neighborhood life occasionally includes barking dogs, crowing roosters, or children playfully kicking a soccer ball in the street. While things are usually quiet, there will be occasional family celebrations and parties. Maybe you’ll be invited to join in!
