Home Description

Villa D'Orcia has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored to the very highest of standards with great visual flair and attention to detail. Contemporary and colourful fabrics and rugs combine effectively with the stone-flagged floors, exposed beams and color washed walls - the result being a really special and attractive rustic home with a charm and originality all of its own.

Each of the bedrooms at Villa D'Orcia has been individually designed and decorated and there is plenty of space throughout. The elegant sitting room and study area with plenty of sofas on which to relax also has family photographs, books and works of art and is a wonderful venue for a family gathering or a reunion of friends. For those guests who enjoy cooking then the farmhouse kitchen is a dream, with hanging baskets, a large open fireplace perfect for roasting meats, and every piece of equipment one could wish for - bliss for guests who enjoy cooking whilst on holiday and having the time to experiment with local, fresh ingredients.

Dining out on the terrace with its spectacular views over the ever changing landscape of the Val d’Orcia is delightful: in Spring green fields contrast with bright red poppies, and in Summer the fields turn a deep yellow-gold as the wheat ripens. The spectacular infinity pool is a heavenly location as well with its panoramic vista across the valley and here one can relax in complete quiet and privacy with a good book. Nearby there are plenty of enchanting villages to visit - Cetona, Pienza and Montepulciano - to name just a few and of course, there are numerous restaurants and wineries to explore where one can sample the delicious cuisine of Southern Tuscany. This stunning luxury villa is in the sought after area of the Val d’Orcia.
