The Villa, realized in the XVII century by the Barbarigo, one of the most important and rich family of Venice, is located in the middle of the ancient Village of Valsanzibio, fraction of Galzignano Terme (Padova), it is surrounded by the immaculate Valley of San Eusebio (from wich Valsanzibio) in the Euganei Hills, it is near to innumerable hot spring health facilities (the nearest at 3 km, thermal spa of Galzignano and Battaglia Terme) and it looks up on one of the most important historic garden in the World cited on every information’ sites as well as on Wikipedia. Furthermore, on its east border lay the oldest 27 holes Golf Club of the region (The Golf Club of Padova).

Location: 18 km (20 minutes) south/west of Padua (the city of Saint Antony – helicopter and private plane’s airport); 30 km (30 minutes) from Vicenza (the city of Palladio); 50 km(35 minutes) from Venice (the city on the water – commercial airlines’ airport); 75 km (60 minutes) from Verona (the city of love and of Verona's open air opera - commercial airlines, airport); 40 km (30 minutes) from Ferrara; 80 km (60 minutes) from Bologna (commercial airlines’ airport). Train stations and highway from Terme Euganee or Monselice (about 6/7 km away), to Padua, Milan or Venice to the North, or to Ferrara, Bologna, Florence as well as Rome to the South. At the foot of the Euganean hills, the area is especially famous for:
-the 9 hectares 16th century historic garden, the Monumental garden of Villa Barbarigo Pizzoni Ardemani. A unique garden, also known as the ‘small Versailles’, realized on the project by the top Vatican architect and fountain expert Luigi Bernini, where you can admire the famous boxwood maze, among the last of its kind and definitely one of the most important in Europe, the rabbits Island, the 70 and more statues due by Enrico Merengo, and the magnificent Diana’s stately doorway. A magic surrounding where you can walk within fish ponds, fountains, water games, 90.000 square meters of boxwood plants over 5 meters tall and hundreds of century old trees.This incredible and enchanted location, surrounded by an ancient medieval Village and immerse in a unspoiled valley unchanged for more than 400 years, is one of its kind. Here, the visitors will be thrown in a nowadays rare and almost completely lost dimension where the beauty drew by mother nature blend in great harmony with the beauty crafted by human hand;

The Villa has been owned by the Nobili Pizzoni dei Conti Ardemani since 1929 and it is part of an estate of 200 hectares (95% of the surrounding Valley of Valsanzibio and most of the Ancient Village of Valsanzibio). The guest can privately rent the main house with free access to about 2 hectares of garden and about 0,5 hectares of Swimming pool area closed to the visiting public and will have free access to the remaining 7 hectares of the historic garden and park visited daily (www.valsanzibiogiardino.it – www.valsanzibiogarden.com).
