Il Cavaliere is a charming loft on the second floor of a period building in the heart of the historical center of Spoleto, between the Cathedral and the Fortress. It is easily reached by car, bus, or by foot. The train station is about a 20 minute walk down the hill. The apartment is located just a short walk from all of the sights and it's close to several markets, monuments, restaurants and cafes.
The apartment has two levels. On the first floor there is a nice kitchen area with a dining table, a cute sofa and a flat screen TV. The bathroom has a good-sized glass shower as well as a modern washing machine. There is also a window that overlooks the charming cobblestone passageway below.
On the second floor is a large loft area with a queen-sized bed, armoire and plenty of room to put your things. Above the bed is a lovely skylight and from one angle you can see the dome of the ancient church that is next door. In the bedroom there is a little studio area with a desk and a space where a single fold-up bed can be added.
The apartment has been fully restored with a new bathroom and kitchen, and the original handmade cotto tiles and wooden beams have been preserved.
Guests have access to an area on the same floor with a little balcony where they can sit and have a glass of wine or read a book. Nearby are travel guides, news about events and guided tours, a small library in English and the Guest Book.
