In a 400 year old former convent in centro storico, located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Spoleto, is a unique apartment with two huge gardens and unparalleled views overlooking the entire city, completely restored inside and out a few years ago. You will enter through a private independent entrance to an apartment with two levels of about 90 square meters with a large Great Room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 2 en suite bathrooms, and a soppalco TV room. The interior features characteristic chestnut-beamed ceilings, a dramatic ancient arch, large arched double doors, cotto-style floors, fireplace, and other remnants of its old history, along with the most
up-to-date high level finishes in the two bathrooms and kitchen and all systems. The ancient building with its massively thick stone walls stays deliciously cool in the summer and keeps the warmth in the winter with the aid of the state-of-the-art Lamborghini central heating system.
In addition to double beds in the two bedrooms, there is a divano-letto with two single beds in the soppalco TV room, and another single divano-letto in the lounge area of the master bedroom. Therefore, the apartment can sleep up to 7 people. It is furnished tastefully for both beauty and comfort. Included are all household amenities needed for a lengthy stay, including a fully outfitted kitchen with a large refrigerator/freezer and a combo convection/microwave oven, and a washing machine and large showers in the bathrooms. There is a collection of hundreds of English-language DVDs in the TV room for you to enjoy, and free high-speed wireless connection and a Bose stereo docking system for your ipod/iphone.
The two private gardens outside have multiple sitting/lounging areas to enjoy dining alfresco or just to enjoy the view and spectacular sunsets. Enjoy fresh figs, grapes, olives, and herbs from the garden at the appropriate times of the year!
The apartment is located only five minutes walk from both the lower city shopping/dining areas and the upper city shopping/dining areas, but in a quiet neighborhood that feels like being out in the countryside. A small but complete grocery store is just
down the steps, or bigger ones just a few minutes further away. In fact, you can get to anywhere in the city really in10-15 min by foot, including the nature walks up by the Ponte delle Torri!
