This lovely villa is located in the Tuscan region where the highest quality of olive oil is produced. Built in the early 1800's , this grand three story stone structure has 7 bedrooms (6 double/ I single, sleeping 13) and 5 large, newly renovated, bathrooms. The living room, with palladium windows, boasts magnificent views. Just steps outside lay a west facing stone terrace that beckon you to sip Chianti Classico and enjoy evenings of brilliant sunsets. A gorgeous 45-minute drive through the rolling hills of Tuscany will take you directly to Florence. If you wish to travel by train the nearest station is just 10 minutes away. Travel time by train to Florence is 25 minutes. Your nearest village, Fronzano, in the county of Reggello, is a 5 minute walk down your very own aisle of cypress trees. In Reggello, a 10-minute drive, there is everything you need to make your life authentically Tuscan.
Outside:
The terrace is equipped with glass tables and seating that over look hundreds of acres of organic olive trees and the Arno Valley. Beneath the terrace is a brand new built-in swimming pool with plenty of Italian stone patios for sunbathing. Just 20 feet behind the Villa Maria is a private tennis court for your use only.
Ground floor:
Villa Maria offers two large living areas each with an open fireplace, comfortable sofas, color TV, piano, home telephone and palladium windows to maximize the gorgeous valley views. The dining area with a large antique wooden table and wooden beamed ceiling is the perfect setting for entertaining and enjoying a delicious Tuscan meal by candlelight. Behind the first living area is a spacious full size kitchen which is perfectly equipped with pots, pans, dish washer, regular gas stove and oven, spacious refrigerator, small American freezer, Italian coffee maker, and toaster. The kitchen is furnished in a traditional Tuscan country style that will inspire you and your family and friends to create delicious Tuscan meals.
First floor:
Going up the stairs you find a 2 complete bathrooms: 1 with shower, sink, WC and bidet and a second very large one with bathtub, WC, bidet, sink and wash machine. On the first floor you then find on your right a marvelous and very spacious elegantly furnished and very well lit billiard room with a beautiful sitting area. At the end of the billiard room to your left is one more complete bathroom with shower, silk, WC and bidet. On this floor there are 3 bedrooms, two are queen size, and the other is a twin bedroom. In front of the billiard room on this floor you will find a lovely long balcony.
Second floor:
On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have twin bed sets and two have queen size beds. There are also 2 complete bathrooms with all the amenities of a gracious villa.
