The converted farm villa offers comfortable accommodations for up to 55 persons in 20 bedrooms.
The setting with meeting rooms, 4 hectares of olive tree terraces, and 5 hectares of woods can prove ideal for school and study groups, especially those interested in art and nature, and for church and other organizations. Casa Cares is a meeting center and guesthouse 35 km south of Florence with a panoramic view over the Arno River Valley. Known for its setting and for its hospitality, the center is ideal for study, art, and music groups and for reunions, seminars, and retreats.
Casa Cares has ample space for meetings, classes, and seminars. As well as outdoor areas for recreation, relaxation, and reflection. Art classes, church groups, therapy groups, choirs and even orchestras have made use of our flexible spaces. We host two summer children's camps in addition to providing various programs throughout the year. We strive to impress upon our guests the need to understand and appreciate the importance of relating to nature in all aspects of everyday life. Our sitting room with its fireplace provides warm refuge from the cold in the winter and even stays cool during the midday summer heat. Breakfast in included in everyone's stay at Casa Cares. Upon reservation we also make available traditional Tuscan lunches and dinners with the occasional hint of international influence.
We invite our guests to relax and to make Casa Cares their home - feeling free to explore all corners of the villa. We have large rooms with 4, 5, and 6 beds which are ideal for youth groups, families, and dormitory style accommodations. We also have double and single rooms with or without in-room bathrooms for our single guests. Casa Cares is nestled into the Tuscan landscape amongst the olive tree terraces, the vineyards, and the woods above.
Our hillside location offers spectacular views across the Arno River Valley. Guests can explore the local countryside and discover treasures that remain well kept secrets. Casa Cares changes faces with the seasons. This is best reflected in our landscape, in our fruit trees and garden, and in our menu. Humans are not the only guests. The influence of the animals (domestic or otherwise) is always close at hand. And the sunsets are rarely disappointing.
