The stone farmhouse dates from the 1700's and has two apartments attached to it. Each apartment has its own private entrance and opens onto a large sunny terrace overlooking the valley and the medieval village of Massa.
The large sunny terrace overlooks our olive groves, the valley and the medieval village of Massa. There are tables and chairs to eat outside, sun loungers, and guests can use the garden, or picnic in the olive groves. The house is surrounded by large trees, and there is always a shady spot and a nice breeze! There is parking on the property.
Apartment #1'Bozzo':
A large, light and airy studio apartment with king-size double bed (or two singles if requested), wardrobe, chest of drawers, sofa, table and chairs, satellite TV, DVD, and large en-suite bathroom with shower, WC, basin and bidet. Alcove kitchenette equipped with hot plates, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery and pots and pans. Free wifi internet access. Independent entrance opens onto large sunny terrace with great views.
Apartment #2 'Bozzino':
A cosy, wood-beamed studio apartment with large double bed, chest of drawers, satellite TV and en-suite shower room and WC. Alcove kitchenette equipped with hot plates, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery and pots and pans. Free wifi internet access. Independent entrance opens onto large sunny terrace with great views.
Large sandy beaches with pools, playgrounds, cafes and restaurants are within a 50-minute drive from Casale Bozzo at Viareggio.
Casale Bozzo is an organic olive farm, and produces a high-quality, extra-virgin, organic olive oil. Guests are welcome to taste our oil and buy it directly from the farm!
How to get there Pisa and Florence airports are each within a one-hour drive from the property. A car is essential, and can be rented at the airports or in Montecatini.
Distances: The property is 1 km from the nearest village which has a shop, cafe, hairdresser, museum, post office and church. Montecatini is 5 km from the property: it is an elegant spa town with several spas to choose from, good shopping, a large park, market, and a funicular railway to the old town of Montecatini Alto. Pisa, Lucca and Florence are all within a one-hour drive, and can also be reached by regular train and coach services from Montecatini.
