Apartment Sleeps6Bedrooms2Bathrooms2Minimum Stay2 nightsThis charming apartment (95 sq. m / 1022 sq. ft) has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 people and is located on the fourth floor (with elevator) of a fine 15th Century building called Palazzo Salviati on via della Vigna Vecchia in the Santa Croce neighborhood of Florence. Just a short walk from the city’s main tourist attractions, the apartment is split on two levels: on the first level there is a comfortable open plan living-room with pull-out double sofa bed (160 cm wide) and pleasant dining area with large wooden table, a fully equipped kitchen, twin bedroom (with two single beds) and nice marble bathroom with shower.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor (which is also the mezzanine floor) which comprises the master bedroom with practical walk-in closet and marble bathroom with bath-tub. There is a beautiful trompe-l'oeil painting on the wall near the bed. Being on the mezzanine floor, the master bedroom overlooks the living room below and therefore does not provide 100% privacy. All the rooms have beautiful wooden floors and coffered ceilings.
What is more the apartment is characterized by traces of original frescoes on the walls. Palazzo Salviati is home to 8 luxury apartments and can sleep up to 43 people. It is therefore a great choice for large groups or families who wish to visit Florence and stay all together in one building. On the ground floor of the building guests will find the famous restaurant called Osteria del Caffè Italiano which serves great local Tuscan food.
