The apartment is found on the elevated ground floor in a prestigious Nineteenth-Century Palace built when Florence was the Capital, it consists of an entrance, large living room, separate kitchen, bathroom with shower, a small laundry room and in the large loft the bedroom?s height reaches over 2 meters.
The apartment is approximately 60 square meters (645 square feet) besides its mezzanine floor, elegantly furnished and accessorized outstandingly, its high ceilings measure over 5 meters and Florentine tiles are used for the flooring. It comfortably hosts two people in its cosy king size bed on the mezzanine floor, it also has the possibility to host two more guests on a comfy sofa bed of 160 cm. located in the living room. The kitchen with its small dimensions has everything, a stove with four gas burners, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer.
There is also internet WI-FI, satellite TV, washing machine, iron and ironing board and independent heating.
On request for your guests there is one parking space of standard dimensions in the vicinity (?10/day) and the use free of bicycles (to be asked for when making the reservation).
The apartment is situated in the historic centre of Florence (World Heritage Site by Unesco), on the Corso Italia, a street parallel to Lungarno Vespucci, in a very peaceful residential area, close the Town Theatre and the park called the Cascine (where every Tuesday a market is held where items of every kind can be found, from clothing, linens and even food), and near Fortezza da Basso where the exhibitions are held. From the apartment, with a quick and pleasant walk you are able to reach all of Florence?s main attractions. In order to give you an idea of the apartments location it requires a 15 minute walk to get to the Ponte Vecchio, while 20 minutes for the Duomo, the Palazzo della Signoria and Santo Spirito. In the Cascine Park you will find tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool and rollerblade rentals and the Hippodrome. Being basically an all pedestrian park, it?s the perfect place to walk, jog and bicycle ride. The bicycle path takes you long the Arno river and is approximately 14km/9 miles long and reaches the Renai Park, where during the summer it offers many aquatic activities.
On the other side of the Arno bridges you can reach the so-called ?Oltrarno? area, which means beyond the river, from Santo Spirito to San Frediano, also known as the Artisan?s quarter where you can find wood, mosaic, incision and gold workshop restaurateurs? and Via Maggio where some of the most famous Florentine Antique stores are.
