Marble flooring is available throughout the house that makes it cool even during the summer season. All windows feature traditional green shutters and double glazed. There are 2 stunning verandas ideal for sunbathing and dining.
The bedrooms are designed and furnished with refined antiques and single and double beds are available on demand. All beddings and mattresses are new. Bedrooms also feature beautiful painted ceilings.
The property also has 2 small apartments at the back of the main house. They feature 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen and shower. It has a driveway spacious enough for 2-3 vehicles.
The villa and annex are located on a large avenue just a few minutes of walk away from the 'Giardino' area of Barga, where you can find restaurants, a supermarket, shops and cinema. Within a few minutes, you can reach the walled Medieval 'Centro Storico', where you can enjoy jazz and opera festivals.
At night during the summer months, food festivals and live music occur in Barga and a nearest town. Fine wines and superb food are served. Full of entertainment is also available to have fun.
A few minutes of walk on the road can help you reach the stunning Garfagnana Mountains with its several trekking routes ideal for mountain biking or walking. Grotto del Vento is within driving distance away, with its beautiful tour of underground caverns.
There is a swimming pool, horse riding stables and tennis courts within a walking distance. An equipped park for kids is also available. Barga has a good bus service to reach nearby attraction like Bagni di Lucca with its popular spas, Lucca with its stunning grass-ringed road above its endless walls and Castelnuovo with its famous weekly market.
