The apartment is in a excellent location, in the very centre of the town, 50 meters far from the historical square Piazza S. Domenico, with the beautiful church of 1600: in just 3 minutes walk, you reach the Massimo Theater, the historical Vucciria Market and the Regional Archaeological Museum Antonio Salinas, while in less than 10 minutes you reach the new water front, the beautiful and ancient Piazza Marina, the Politeama Theater and the centre of Modern Art GAM, the beautiful church of Martorana and Fontana Pretoria.
Despite being in the city center, with many shops within a blink of an eye, the courtyard, which overlooks the apartment, ensures complete silence and a perfect relaxing holiday, in a dimension outside of time.
The facility is fully equipped with every comfort, with underfloor heating and Panasonic air conditioners and wireless internet connection. The renovation of the apartment has been headed by local architects; the original floors have been preserved and integrated with parts made of local stone (Stone of Comiso). In the apartment houses there's the private collection of the artist Andrea Mancuso.
The owners, who live in the same building, next to the apartment, are great connoisseurs of the city and are available for any suggestions or help. The owners are excellent chef and expert in traditional sicilian cuisine and organize sicilian cooking class, with discount for the guests of the apartment. Potential reductions for long stays.
