The blue house
is located in Via Duca degli Abruzzi. 20, at the center of Riposto (CATANIA), a charming seaside town between Taormina and Catania, a few steps from the sea, behind Hotel "Yachting Palace" and a 100 meters away from the beach boardwalk that leads to the village of Torre Archirafi. The house is 150 meters from the turistic port.
The strategic location is excellent for excursions to Mount Etna and to visit countries of eastern Sicily like Catania (20 minutes), Giardini Naxos (15), Aci Castello, Aci Trezza, Taormina (20 minutes).
The house consists of two floors: a ground floor where there is a large master bedroom and also has a single bed with a large window; the living room with a sofa bed for a square and a half; It has a kitchen and 1 bathroom in the ground floor.
The house was recently renovated and the living room furniture and kitchen are new (May 2015). Climbing the stairs, upstairs there is a laundry (with chairs inside, a table and chairs.) connected by a staircase to a spacious terrace.
The house , with air conditioning and heaters, is located in a zone full of services (pharmacy, supermarket, banks, post office, delis and bakeries, fish shop, railway station and train station on car hire etc.).
Inside you will find a regulatory chess board, a television, 2 bicycles (one men and one women), etc. A stereo mp3.
Public transport:
Riposto is well connected with all countries (Catania, Taormina, Giardini and more)from the Train Station "Giarre-Riposto" (1km away from the house) and several bus lines.
In Riposto there is also a little train (called: "circumetnea") that reaches all countries of Etna, 500 mt away from the house. It's very characteristic!
The Airport "Fontanarossa Catania" is 44 km away from the house. We can take you to the airport with low rates.
