STAZZU LA SARRA Villa in Sardinia

Details

Home Description

"Stazzu" is the name of the typical style of architecture used for centuries when constructing farms and country homes in Northern Sardinia. A Stazzu originally consisted of a long rectangle that could be expanded by additional rectangular annexes on the gable sides. The roof consisted of a massive rafter construction made of juniper or chestnut wood which was covered with reeds and was visible from within. Our Stazzu was built based on this historical model.

On the ground floor, there is an open living room with a fireplace and large sliding windows, a gallery with stairs, a spacious, open kitchen with a sliding door to the terrace, a dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

On the large terrace, half of which is covered, there is a walled outdoor kitchen with a fireplace and a gas grill. From there, you can get to a little solarium. The terrace and solarium both offer breath-taking views.

The large pool can be reached from the terrace. It is within view of the house. Due to its length, it is particularly well suited for athletic swimming.

The laundry room and apartment can be reached via a stone stairway within the house and connected to the basement. It has a kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. The apartment has a partially covered terrace and its own access to the garden.
