Casa Felice is a beautiful luxury holiday home built in the traditional local style with a fabulous pool on a soputh facing terrace. Our elegant holiday rental is situated on the brow of a hill overlooking a small lake, with a 15th century village on the hill opposite and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The pool terrace has a fabulous Roman swimming pool with diving board, plus a poolside bar and outside kitchen. The property is furnished to a very high standard with solid oak furnishings, a marble staircase and a cream leather 3 piece suite. It is tastefully decorated with interior design features and the result is a spacious, cool and calm house, perfectly suited to family holidays or a couples retreat. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with all that you could need and includes a full sized cooker and hob, large American fridge freezer with ice making machine and chilled water dispenser. Normal kitchen facilities include a microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, fruit press, toaster etc. ( There is also a full sized washing machine situated in the utility room on the pool terrace) The spacious open plan ground floor has a large oak dining table that can seat up to 10, and a lounge area with a very comfortable cream leather suite. There is a new 46 inch flat screen LED TV with surround sound, plus DVD player, ipod player and an Apple TV device. There is WiFi connection which is free. The settees pull out to reveal comfortable fold-away beds, one double and one large single for guests. Just through the double french doors there is an outside dining terrace overlooking the pool area, and that fabulous view described above. Upstairs there are 3 large double bedrooms all with double or king sized beds, and ample wardrobe and drawer space for your needs, The bedrooms are all fitted with air conditioning units. All bedrooms have french opening doors, and the two at the rear have large balconies overlooking the pool area and the valley below. There is a small safe i the master bedroom to keep personal items. All beds have crisp white bedding, 2 pillows per person and a light duvet and sheet. We also provide 2 white fluffy towels for each person and one brightly coloured towel each for use around the pool or at the beach ( please do not take white towels out of the house). The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with wash basin, toilet and bidet, plus a large shower cubicle. There is also a large family shower room with double sinks, huge mirror, toilet bathroom and shower. The is a further toilet and wash basin on the ground floor and one more on the pool terrace. The unit is fully air conditioned and heated and heating is available for winter rentals. ( Please note that a nominal fee is charged for air conditioning to encourage its economical use) The house is set on a small country road and is just 1km from the nearest village shop. However, it is just 6km from large shopping malls and necessary facilities ie banks, restaurants etc. We happily provide a detailed book at the house recommending places to visit, things to do and the best places to shop or to eat etc. There is also a huge collection of maps and tourist books to help you get the most from your holiday. If you are travelling with children we can provide a cot, high chair, safety stair gates, plastic plates / cutlery etc, a potty, and lots of childrens bedding, towels, blankets etc If you like a sporty holiday, do not hesitate to ask, there is every facility within a short drive from horse riding to tennis, and from karting to 10 pin bowling or golf. We can even get pedal cycles delivered to you at the house and can be collected when you have finished with them !
