The apartment has been recently refurbished respecting the original architecture and employing the typical ceramics from Vietri hand-painted, it is spacious and bright, is equipped with heating and air conditioning, the decor is modern and functional.
The apartment is a few minutes walk from the Cathedral, from the sea, from the bus station connecting Amalfi to Positano, Sorrento, Naples, Ravello, Salerno, Pompeii etc.. and from the port, where ferries leave for Capri, Ischia, Salerno, Positano, Naples.
The apartment is in the center of Amalfi, it is very quiet because it is accessible by stairs (about 80 steps) and not affected by traffic noise.
Restaurants, pubs, shops, bars, banks are within walking distance (50 - 100 meters).
The beaches are about 400 meters away, are a 5-minute walk away.
You do not need to own the car for easy access the apartment and indeed it is recommended to come to Amalfi and visit the other resorts along the coast, using public transport. However, for those who prefer to travel by car, there is a communal garage (for a fee, 20 euros / day).
