The apartment is located in Buda, west side of the Danube, next the Gellert Hotel & Spa on Gellert hill, which is listed on UNESCO`s world`s heritage list. For a stroll right from the apartment, hike up to see the Citadella and the beautiful view of the Danube, the bridges and Pest side. The stylish shopping street (Vaci utca), is just a 5 minute walk across the Freedom bridge on the Pest side, where gourmet restaurants and antique shops are plentiful. Budapest's largest traditional covered market can be found there where fresh produce and baked goods are sold, along with folk articrafts. The surrounding area, including the Castle district, Matthias Church, National Gallery, can be conveniently visited via a single ride on the tram (right around the corner).
