There are two single beds and a quality sofa bed in the lounge area. It has a open plan kitchen, living and dining area and a bathroom. Outside has a veranda with seating and a landscaped garden with mountain views. The cottage is situated in the heart of the village of Keramies and is a ten minute drive to some of the most beautiful sandy beaches, a forty minute drive will take you to the famous Myrtos beach and the towns of Sami and Aghia Efemi where much of the filmining of Captain Corelli's mandolin took place is only a thirty minute drive away. Keramies is a traditional working village, the beauty and tranquility of the whole village will please the most demanding visitors. It boasts two restuarants both offering an excellent choice of menu and serves traditional Greek food. There is also a local store where you can buy your provisions and enjoy a drink with the friendly locals. Keramies is a ten minute drive from the airport and a ten minute drive to the cosmopolitan capital of Argostoli with it's trendy bars, restaurants, and shops. The port of Pessada where you can take the daily ferry to Zante and the historic St Georges castle is only a five minute drive away. The location is ideal for walks or hiring a car/motor bike and searching out the wonderful sites the Island has to offer. As we live next door to the cottage we can offer a personal service while also being available to offer any support or advice you may require. Included in the price is free WIFI, a welcome pack which consists of tea, coffee, milk, butter, sugar, water, bread and a bottle of locally produced wine, and a safe. We can offer a meet and greet service if required. Towels and linen are included but beach towels are not supplied. The cottage has mid week cleaning, linen and towel change with extra towels available. The level garden area boasts mountain views, a gazebo with table and chairs, outside shower ideal for showering when returning from the beach or cooling down when sunbathing in the garden that hosts fruit trees and various plant/flowers, Sun loungers, a stoned parking area and a BBQ Is also available. Car hire is recommended to appreciate the beauty of the Island, and this can be arranged to pick up at the airport or to deliver to your cottage. Use of a large local pool bar is available.
