Just three kilometres from the pretty harbour of Fiskardo, with its range of picturesque restaurants, cafes and shops, stone-built Evanthia provides a perfect base for a restful holiday within easy reach of this jewel of the Ionian.
Evanthia’s owner has built his villa in a way that exploits its hillside position to the full, with terraces and balconies taking the best possible advantage of the sweeping views that stretch down to the sea. The elevated position also guarantees a permanent breeze, with the air retaining its freshness even in the temperatures of high summer.
The villa sleeps six in all, in two twin rooms – one on the ground floor, one on the first – and one double. Both upstairs bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers, and the third bedroom on the ground floor also has its own bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The remainder of the ground floor consists of a spacious open plan lounge with fireplace and flat screen satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine in the adjacent utility room. Outside, the wide terraces have elegant wooden table and chairs in shade, for outside dining from the barbecue, and guests are invited to use the produce of the owner’s organic fruit and vegetable garden.
