Nestling on a hillside on the edge of the hamlet of Katserata, Villa Aramis is just a short drive both from pretty Fiskardo and from a selection of attractive beaches.
The villa was until recently the owner’s residence and is as a result very tastefully furnished, with all the modern touches you would expect in a home of this standard.
The ground floor is mainly open plan, with a fully fitted modern kitchen, a dining area and lounge. French doors lead from the dining area onto a balcony with barbecue and table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining, while the lounge area, with satellite TV, DVD player and fireplace, has its own set of French doors leading out onto another balcony, with steps down to the pool area. On this floor there is also a shower room and a utility room.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with ensuite shower rooms. The double room has French doors leading onto two balconies, one of which is shared with the twin bedroom. On a lower level from the house is the figure of eight swimming pool. The pool area is completely paved, has full sets of outside furniture and sunbeds, and also enjoys the stunning views.
A 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the villa brings you to the village of Maganos, which has a couple of tavernas, minimarkets and a fruit and vegetable shop. Fiskardo is about 10 minutes’ drive away and en route you will pass the lovely pebbly cove of Foki Bay. Here there is a taverna offering lots of freshly prepared Greek dishes. Fiskardo itself, which is a magnet for sailing enthusiasts, offers a wide range of restaurants and café bars and is the perfect place for a relaxing evening.
The best way to explore the area is by boat and in Fiskardo there are a number of companies offering small motorboats for hire for the day, together with more organized boat trips.
