Spetses is considered to be one of the most beautiful Greece islands with easy access from Piraeus. It is main port of Athens and takes two hours or 1 hour if taken by “flying dolphin†or “by catamaran†respectively. Via sea taxi through Peloponnese, the journey will hardly take 10 minutes.
The island is dotted with outstanding natural beauty, which gives an authentic island experience. The land is uniquely diverse and there taverns, bars, organized beaches and bustling nightlife when you are in Dapia, main town and Baltiza, old harbour. Amaze with splendid bays – they are mostly secluded, rich vegetation, multi-coloured and white sandy beaches with emerald crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea and beautiful Mediterranean sun while going away from the town. The island can best be explored by bikes, horse ridden carts and bicycles. 5 – 10 minutes’ walk will take you to the city centre.
