The property benefits from fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, extra water storage tank, an outside lock-up store room, and hot/cold air conditioning in each bedroom and living area. There are also electric radiators in each bedroom, providing heat during the colder weather in winter.
The doors and windows are double-glazed aluminium with shutters.
There is a stone BBQ on the stone-paved terrace in front of the house promising delightful outside dinners and entertainment around the pool. The garden surroundings are low-maintenance. There is parking right next to the house on the stone-paved driveway, plus extra parking for visitors.
Tiled steps rise from outside to the enormous, pergola-covered roof terrace with wonderful mountain and countryside views over olive groves and Drapanos Hill.
The traditional village of Drapanos, only 6km from the sandy beach of Almirida, has a well-stocked mini-market and two tavernas serving delicious traditional meals all through the year. There is also an English pub/restaurant within close walking distance to the property, serving amongst others, indian dishes and curries.
There are buses at certain times to neighbouring villages and to the city of Chania.
