The villa is situated just a few miles north of Lindos, which has 3 beaches and there are also beaches close by at Vlicha, Kalathos, Haraki and Agathi and further south at Pefkos, Lardos and Glystra. The villas situation gives good access to visit all areas, north.south, west and east of Rhodes. Ideal for exploring all parts of the island of Rhodes.
Villa Olivia is perfect for a relaxing holiday, a romantic break away from everything, an action packed family holiday or a break with friends. The villa offers peace and quiet, whilst being close to a number of busier resorts for those looking for more amenities. It is in a convenient location to enjoy the many excellent local beaches, tavernas, country walks or to visit the many attractions of Rhodes. The villa is set at the end of a side road giving additional privacy away from the main road through the development.
Lindos is only a few minutes drive away for those seeking more entertainment and there are many other nearby resorts - Pefkos,Lardos, Kiotari to the south and Haraki, Archangelos and Kolymbia to the north. Villa Olivia is only 1400M from the sea. At Kalathos bay there is a ten mile stretch of clean peaceful beach. With unspoilt views from Haraki towards Lindos and crystal clear water there is always space on this beach! There are local shops available in Kalathos – within walking distance and also a few small bars/tavernas. Lindos is only ten minutes away by car or bus and there are also buses to Rhodes (approximately 50 minutes away). Nearby resorts/attractions include Vliha Beach, Agathi Beach, and the villages of Lindos, Lardos, Haraki, Archangelos and Pefkos. Local Facilities - In the village of Kalathos there is an excellent bakers and also a pharmacy.Continuing through the village, at the junction of the turning to Lardos, there is a medium sized supermarket, where most daily needs can be bought. There are two garages in the village. The nearest bank/cash machine is in either Lindos or Lardos to the south or alternatively in Archangelos to the north. There are medical centres with 24 hour cover at both Lindos and Archangelos and there is a dentist next to the pharmacy in Kalathos. There are a few bars/tavernas in the village and more in the nearby surrounding area. Car Hire is recommended, though it is possible to manage without as there are buses from the main road, either south to Lindos, Pefkos and beyond or north to Archangelos, Faliraki and Rhodes.
The main entrance door opens into the large kitchen/dining and lounge area, which is all on split levels. The kitchen has a range of fitted cupboards and worktops and also has the following equipment: – Electric Oven and Hob, Kettle, Coffe Machine, Microwave Oven, Toaster, Fridge / Freezer, Washing machine Iron and Ironing Board. The kitchen area leads up a few steps to the lounge/ dining area which has three patio doors leading on to the pool patio area. The lounge has two sofas, a large coffee table and occasional tables. There is also a dining table with 6 dining chairs Entertainment is provided by a Radio / CD Player and a TV and DVD Player. Stairs from the lounge lead up to the mezzanine bedroom and private top patio, which has spectacular views. For those who love sunbathing an ideal spot for some privacy. There are twin beds in this area. From the kitchen there is easy access to the bath room, which has bath w.c. and hand basin set in marble work top. The main bedroom, is accessed by a short flight of stairs and has a King Size bed, comfortable chair, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables.. This room has a window, with views of the garden and also patio doors which lead on to the pool patio. Stairs, from the kitchen area also lead down to the lower level bedroom and shower room. The bedroom has Twin Beds fitted wardrobes, chair and table and patio doors, which open out to the garden. The shower room has shower, w.c. and hand basin. Cot is available on request for babies/young children. The villa has air conditioning units in the lounge and all bedrooms.
All the bedrooms have wardrobe/drawer storage for guests clothes and belongings. The main bedroom has a large double bed. The other two bedrooms both have twin beds.
The ground floor bathroom has w.c .bath and hand basin. The lower bathroom has w.c., hand basin and Shower.
The villa can accommodate up to 6 guests.
No all male or female young groups are allowed.
The private swimming pool is 7 meters x 4 meters and 1.5 meters deep. The pool also has powerful 'bubble jets'.
