The castle was built by Faugs famous Ardèche composer Vincent d'Indy (1851-1931). He had lost his mother at birth and raised in Paris. During his childhood, he spent many stays Chabret , with his cousins Pampelonne. Country Lovers, they decided with his wife Isabelle to build a castle on a hill, instead of an old fortress. He worked himself plans this large family home with architect Louis-Achille Tracol . He was then 29 years old and already a successful musician. The first stone was laid in 1883 and Vincent d'Indy lived there since 1890.
On the first floor, four luxury suites , spacious and refined, offering different atmospheres. Fervaal, Istar and Wallenstein have two bedrooms and a bathroom with wc.
Cévenole The suite offers a bedroom, office, bathroom bathroom, toilet and laundry. To rent the whole house, we offer a range of services, from the provision of a stove, a housekeeper and supply.
