Heated Pool Les Lezards- 2 very comfortable gites adjoining our Charentaise farmhouse situated in a quiet hamlet surrounded by fields of sunflowers, wheat and corn. Le Grand Lezard is one of 2 gites available for holiday rental. We are within cycling distance of Aulnay with its Romanesque church and all local facilities including supermarket, restaurant, snack bar/cyber cafe, bakers, butcher, tabac, Post Office, banks and an open-air swimming pool and tennis court. Every Sunday, fresh produce and gifts can be purchased from the market in the square. Les Lezards is an ideal base for Bordeaux, Cognac, Saintes, Surgères, Rochefort, La Rochelle, Royan, Poitiers and Futuroscope. There are several golf courses within 1 hours drive. The beautiful market town of St Jean-d'Angély is only 15 mins drive away with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, indoor leisure pool, skate park, mini-golf, water activities and go-karting. Market day is every Wednesday. Le Grand Lezard: Bedroom 1. One king size bed, drawer units, clothes rail and en suite shower room with hand basin and wc. Bedroom 2. Three single beds, drawer unit, clothes rail and en suite shower room with hand basin and wc. Fully equipped gallery kitchen/breakfast area. Spacious sitting/dining room with wood burner. UK satellite TV,DVD and CD player. Wifi Ground floor WC. All bed linen and gite towels are provided. Rear easy access to enclosed Swimming Pool area. Cot and highchair available. Several outdoor sitting areas in sun or shade with garden furniture and BBQ. Front garden and rear garden with lawn and fruit trees, swings/climbing rope & ladder and boules pitch. 10 x 4.5m heated swimming pool in enclosed area with sun beds and parasols. Secure parking.
