2 Bedroom Cottage

Details

Home Description

The cottage dates back to the early 1700s. Built in a local stone, it has a great deal of character and is approached through a characteristic stepped alleyway and benefits from beautiful views over the River Lot.

The cottage has been fully renovated in a traditional manner, keeping all the original character of beamed ceilings, stone walls, plus tiled and wooden floors. It has a fully fitted kitchen, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave and benefits from central heating and a beautiful traditional "Godin" log burning stove for the cooler days. Outside it has a two tiered terrace over looking the river with BBQ for those lazy summer evenings.

The cottage is entered via the hallway, with the shower room off to the left. Through the hall you reach the well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table. From here a door leads outside to the terrace - giving splendid views over the river. Wooden stairs lead up from the hallway in to the main sitting room which features a "Godin" log burning stove and satellite* TV with DVD. The two double bedrooms lead off from the sitting room.
