Charming 18th century cottage, a former schoolhouse is situated in the village of Bourneville which has all the typical French shops such as a boulangerie, boucherie, charcuterie, pharmacie, bar/ tabac and several restaurants which include a créperie, pizzeria ( take/away) and two french gastranomic restaurants a stones throw away.
The cottage has a small patio area and the owner's garden is mainly laid to lawn with various fruit trees and shrubs which guests are welcome to use. There are swings in the garden. The cottage comprises of 1 groundfloor double bedroom , with living room/diner and kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. There is a ground floor shower room and utility area housing washing machine and tumble drier. The ground floor area is designed for persons with limited mobility. Upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms, 1 twin bed room and another 3 single bed bedroom with a bathroom and shower and a small seating area on the landing.
Bourneville lies approx 8 kms away from the pretty local town of Pont -Audemer with a twice weekly market and some good restaurants and supermarkets.
Bourneville has its own small Sunday market.
