It is our largest gite and very suitable for big families or groups of friends looking to share a holiday but be comfortable and relaxed. It has been the venue for all sorts of holidays and celebrations from groups of bike enthusiasts to 50th wedding anniversaries.
Gite Demeure has been equipped as a self-catering gite to accommodate up to 14 people. There are 6 en-suite bedrooms, a large dining kitchen and a salon in the style of the 18th century. The entrance hall leads to an open stone staircase. The ground floor is paved throughout in Caen Stone. The fully equipped kitchen/dining room which can seat 14 at the large kitchen table has a wood burning fire in the original fireplace. The salon, carefully restored and decorated in the colours and the styles of its period also has a wood burning fire in its carved stone fireplace. The private garden and patio are accessed from the salon via french windows.
The first floor comprises of a double bedroom (en-suite WC and shower), twin bedroom (en-suite WC and shower), and a family suite of two twin bedrooms with room for a third bed in the larger one. An en-suite WC and shower is located between the two rooms.
The second floor (with all original oak beams exposed) comprises a lounge area, double bedroom (en-suite WC and bath with shower) with room for a third bed, and twin bedroom (en-suite WC and bath with shower).
In the kitchen, the following equipment is provided: washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher, large gas cooker, microwave, toaster, iron, kettle, coffee maker, crockery, tableware, cooking utensils, glassware, and cutlery. Gite La Demeure also has central heating throughout.
