Bienvenue au Domaine de la Bade… your luxury gîtes near Carcassonne in the beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon region in the sunny South of France.

Gite Maison Malepere is a stylish French farm house of 230 m2. It features four spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is fully equipped for 8 – 10 persons. This holiday house has large patio doors to the terrace, from where you have a beautiful view. Perched on a hill overlooking the Malepère wine region and the Carcassonne valley this stylish farm house sleeps 8 – 10 persons comfortably.

The name la Bade stems from the Occitan word Badar meaning, staring with open mouth as this is exactly the reaction you can expect upon seeing Domaine de la Bade situated in the picturesque landscape. Perched upon a lovely little hilltop, with 14 hectares of land surrounding the house and spectacular views of the Carcassonne valley and the Pyrenees, our gîtes are the ideal location to enjoy a sophisticated yet relaxed holiday in this charming region of France.

Here you will find attention to detail – those little things that make a holiday special. At this luxury yet small scale gîte complex, you’ll find two fully equipped holiday cottages with spacious living rooms, large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a swimming pool with a stunning view where you can relax, read or chat. Enjoy the sunny terraces, shady corners, nice hammocks, delicious food, fine wines and above all the relaxed and informal atmosphere where you can truly feel at home.

Ground floor:
- Comfortable and fully equipped kitchen (33m2) with dishwasher, oven, washing machine and all utensils needed to prepare great home made meals
- Spacious living and dining room (56m2) with a breathtaking view, equipped with TV and DVD
- Bathroom with shower and hand basin

- Access to a private terrace with large BBQ, close to swimming pool and gardens with spectacular views of the Pyrenees

First floor – 3 bedrooms:
- Three large double bedrooms (22m2 and two times 25m2) with space for an additional bed.
- Bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin

Second floor – 1 bedroom:
- A large double bedroom (32m2) with en-suite bathroom, great views and with space for an additional bed

All rooms have comfortable box spring beds – 2 x 90 x 200.

The name Malepère:
Malepère is an appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) since 2006 for the red and rosé wines from the area immediately south-west of Carcassonne, going towards Limoux. Merlot is the most widely used grape variety, paired with Cabernet, Sauvignon, Malbec, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsaut.
